AIIMS at Nagpur is to be developed as model Medical Teaching & Medical Research Centre.

The central government has sanctioned Rs 1577 crores for this and it will be state-of- the-art & have 960 beds.

AIIMS has been allotted 150 acres at MIHAN and an FSI of 1.5.
