Encroachments on Govt land policy to regularize

Maharashtra government is planning to regularize encroachments on government lands.

It is planning to bring out policy to regularize constructions on 500 sq ft plots free of cost, while plots of 500- 2000 sq ft will be charged a premium.

Constructions done after 2011 illegally may be charged premium as per ready reconer.

Similarly, grazing lands too, encroached upon, may be considered for regularization.
