Government to help in development of unauthorised layouts

Earlier, the Chief Minister’s office had power of changing zone from green belt to yellow belt.
Now, the government has delegated powers in this regard at the level of divisional commissioners.
This will expedite development process in the state.
Hurdles in way of changing zone from green belt to yellow belt are expected to be removed which will curb new unauthorized layouts from coming up. Scheme of Residential permission in green belt by taking 33% premium is expected.
The Govt will help NIT & NMC in development of unauthorized layouts in Nagpur.
