NIT township expected near Jamtha stadium in Nagpur

2014:

A 1000 hectare NIT mega township to the west of Jamtha cricket stadium would be cleared soon.

The scheme is spread over 5 villages and is on one side along outer ring road.

It will house 2 Lakh (0.2 million) people. NIT will provide all basic amenities in it.

Another mega township near MIHAN was also cleared.
