Patanjali Food park at Nagpur will be the biggest food park in the world says Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari

Patanjali’s entire range of products would be manufactured here. The food & herbal park will would bring about a revolution & change in Vidarbha & Maharashtra. Barren land on which nothing grew could be used to plant Aloe Vera in a big way says Swami Ramdev.
It will change fortune of farmers in Vidarbha. The food park will take oranges & agricultural produce from the region to the international market says Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
It will process 5,000 MT of raw materials per day. It would be spread over 230 acres, and is expected to be setup in 6 months. It will provide direct employment to 10,000 & indirect employment to 50,000 people. There will also be training centre & processing unit for farmers says Acharya Balkrishna.
Agro based processing industry will get a boost. Material would directly be procured from the farmers. Patanjali would buy herbs, oranges, bajra, jowar and medicinal plants in huge quantities. It would even extend loans to the farmers. Foundation stone for this park was laid.
Patanjali to invest Rs 2000 crores in MIHAN for EOU & Food Processing

It would be the biggest food park in the world says Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Ramdev Baba’s Patanjali Yog Peeth is taking 349 acres of land for this purpose. Patanjali will setup an EOU on 108 acres in SEZ area, with aim to export ayurvedic products that are in big demand in the rich western countries.
Outside the SEZ, it will setup a mega food park. It has also agreed to help the government increase milk production in the Vidarbha region for which land will be provided by the government at Pohara near Amravati where a cow progency centre will be setup.
